      great exposure to research experience

      Underpaid, bad managers, terrible hours and insistence on working from the office when there is absolutely neither the need or want for such an arrangement. The company is effectively set up to hire editors in London and underpaid writers in Romania. It is also financially unsound: 90% reliance on one source of revenue

      Pros

      The work is often varied and intellectually demanding. The complexity involved means it is not for everyone, but if you are naturally inquisitive and have the right investigative mindset it can be very rewarding, allowing you to deepen regional expertise. The company has grown significantly over the past few years and the type of work we have been doing has also shifted, become more interesting and varied as our client base expands. There is a feeling of team spirit and people do look out for each other's wellbeing and personal development. There is a real collegiate feel and a drive to increase transparency. Recent senior hires have also injected new expertise into the company. Aperio feels like a growing company with a positive outlook.

      The hours can be long in periods of high demand; Some of the more routine work is less stimulating;
