Pros

Literally none. ZERO. Stay far away from this company and any of the companies they buy.

Cons

Do you love unlimited PTO? Great! You get that here! Except you're so busy trying to keep up with your workload that you can't even take time off. Apex Service Partners keeps buying HVAC and plumbing companies with no plan, organization, or resources to fill the extra work load. They will give you a massive work load, on top of your already full plate, with zero extra pay. Do you love feeling under-appreciated and getting your benefits cut with no notice? Step right up! You found your new workplace. They will tell you that they made "record-breaking sales" then immediately follow up with budget and benefit cuts including removing paid holidays. Oh, but we're hitting record-breaking sales, aren't we? We should be thriving! Well, private equity companies such as Apex Service Partners only care about one thing and one thing only - THEIR PROFITS. Do you love magic? Perfect! Nothing but smoke and mirrors here at Apex Service Partners! They will sell you lies, tell you they are "people-focused", tell you they care about your growth, and basically tell you anything you want to hear with zero follow through. Senior Leadership preaches how great the company is except when you look underneath the hood, each region is an unorganized mess where everyone blames each other for not hitting their impossible, completely unattainable goals. Just like another review mentioned, Senior Leadership only cares about their bonuses. If you don't help them hit their bonus, you're fired and replaced with another poor soul who has no idea what they've gotten themselves into. Do you love meeting new people? Awesome! At Apex, meeting new people is the norm as the turnover at the company is insanely high. Employees are either getting fired because they're not meeting the astronomical goals, or, they're leaving to save their sanity. Do you love meetings? Look no further! You will have meeting, after meeting, after meeting. Yes, you will have meetings to prepare for your meetings. Expect your work day to consist of no less than 3-5 meetings. Every. Single. Day. Don't forget! You have that insane workload that still needs to get done after-hours when you're finally done your meetings. Expect to work 12-16 hours a day. Yup, that includes weekends. Do you hate your mental health and thrive working in a toxic environment? Ding, ding, ding! You will find no better company to work for than Apex Service Partners! You will see 30+ job postings for each company that they bought. Why? Because they churn and burn through all of their employees with absolutely no regard for their wellbeing nor do they care to take the time to properly train and put you on a growth path. If your company was recently bought by Apex, start applying for a new job NOW. Your company values? Your company values now consist of upselling and overcharging customers. Your company culture? Your culture now consists of pinning employees against each other because everyone is trying to meet their goal. Your job security? You're no longer a valued employee but just a number. And they WILL replace you if you don't meet that impossible number. To sum up, if you enjoy: - Being overworked - Being underpaid - Being scared of taking time off because your work load continues to increase - Office politics - Working in a toxic environment - Working so that the leadership can take credit for and get bonuses for the work YOU are doing - Getting your benefits taken away at any time - Being micromanaged - Sitting in countless meetings - Traveling to pointless company wide workshops to listen to them preach about how great the company is doing yet continue to get hounded about not meeting your goals - Having zero work/life balance - Living in a negative mental state for your entire duration of employment - Being scared you'll be let go at any time for not meeting a goal that is completely unattainable This is the place for you!

Pros

If you enjoy chaos, politics, and watching your coworkers get thrown under the bus on a weekly basis, you’ll fit right in. Great place to build gossiping tactics, not a career.

Cons

This is a sincere, honest review. Not writing this out of bitterness, but writing it because people deserve to know the reality of the culture here. The work environment is toxic, driven by internal politics, blame-shifting, and a leadership style that favors gossiping. There’s no onboarding, no support, and no clear structure. New hires are often set up to fail, not set up to grow. The company talks a lot about being people-first, but behind closed doors, the culture is dominated by back-channel gossip and blaming. People are quick to point fingers, and slow to take accountability — especially in cross-functional teams. Marketing experience particularly high turnover, and for good reason. This is not an environment where you’ll be developed. It’s an environment where you’ll be tested — often without the tools, context, or leadership needed to succeed.

Pros

1. Exposure to multiple brands and industries within the service sector. 2. Some knowledge growth is to be expected - but is not facilitated by Apex. Grab whatever knowledge/skills you can for yourself and get out. (Not applicable to the boots-on-the-ground technicians) 3. Fast-paced environment that can build resilience and adaptability. A great insight on the kind of company you do not want to work for long term. 4. Some coworkers are talented and supportive despite challenging conditions. Connections made here can and are truly worthwhile in both career and personal aspects.

Cons

1. Poor work-life balance: Would often have 10+ hour days with no end in sight. 2. Unrealistic expectations: High revenue targets with shrinking budgets and minimal resources. 3. Lack of long-term strategy: Focus is solely on short-term digital marketing gains rather than sustainable growth. Or being forced to use agency's that were clearly never right for their roles from the very beginning. 4. Bureaucratic approval process: Initiatives require input from 5-10 individuals, slowing down execution. 5. Blame culture: Marketing is held responsible for poor results despite having little control over necessary changes. Often times having to work with choices you had no hand in making. Operational inefficiency's on the actual businesses side were numerous. 6. Forced role transitions: Employees are moved into roles outside their expertise with little to no training or support. 7. Overemphasis on reporting: More time is spent justifying data to operators than executing marketing strategies or campaigns. 8. “Unlimited PTO” is misleading: Heavy workloads make taking time off impractical with no one actually available to provide any amount of adequate coverage while you are out. 9. Low pay relative to workload: Staff are consistently underpaid and undervalued. I was aware of several employees who were being paid far less than their colleagues for the exact same role. Some times with a discrepancy of 10's of thousands of dollars. In a number of cases I was truly disgusted by the sizable gap in pay scale.
