Pros

1. Since the overall model is very challenging and interesting so you will get a good exposure on the technology front. 2. Basically its roots belong to fashion Industry so you will get unrealistic timelines, therefore u will learn fast. 3. Being a Arvind employee you will get discounts on some brands.

Cons

1. Delayed Salary. 2. Delayed appraisal cycle - at the time of joining they will commit about their fair 360 degree appraisal cycles but reality is you will have to pester them over and over again until your hopes are reduced to ashes 3. Less or no perks - no team lunches, no outing, just keep working like a donkey. That is what they expect of you. 4. Lots of meetings with no outcomes and sky-high expectations of deliverables. 5. At the time of joining they will ask you join ASAP but if you decide to quit the organization (due to the obvious reasons), they will raise a hue and cry making your life as miserable as possible. Thinking of buyouts by your new company? Sorry, they dont allow that. 5. Final settlement - Even if you have served your notice period, you may have to wait for 4-8 months for final settlement. Re-inserting toothpaste back into its tube would be much easier than coaxing them to be fair. 6. Funny Product management team - The days of a good product management team are history. If you are a developer, run for your sanity(Oh, if you decide to join Arvind after reading this review, you are probably insane anyways) !

Pros

I am impressed by new HR head. The moment there is a real review here, they are bombarding glassdoor with fake reviews.

Cons

Most of the founding members and the senior leadership left the organisation. The list includes COO, CFO, CEO, Head of Engineering, Chief Architect, HR Heads, Tech leads, UX head and so on. The new management has no clue on the direction. The founding CEO was actually pulled out of the game because the Arvind family didn’t want him to be part of a loosing side. CPO and COO were always fighting, finally the CPO won the war and became the current CEO. In the beginning it was much better, tech had a clear understanding on what needs to be built. We pretty much built the entire stack in almost 6 months. Once the system was descent and stable the management wanted core tech to do support and dev-ops activities full-time. From there onwards it was all downhill. In 2017 tech appraisals there were all kinds of games played. The best you can get is a 10% hike. Everyone is pissed by our current hikes. They are even using the GST as an excuse! CEO is comparing the hikes with US companies (even though we are paid in rupees unlike the CEO). The only good thing was that even the chamchas of the management got the same hike % (they are utterly pissed). The sales on our websites never took off. The UX was designed by a US firm for the US market. The Product managers and the CPO had no clue on what the consumers wanted. Most of the decisions were driver by the tech since the product was pretty much non existent. Needless to say we never made any money. By time time sole investor took a hard look on cash burn, pretty much everyone had left. Right now it’s going thru meaningless vision less pivots. Stay away from it unless you couldn’t find anything else and you want a stepping stone for a few months or you are closer to retirement and don’t mind mindless dev-ops / support work. At the same time be aware that they have also fired engineers left and right for no meaningful reasons. I don’t remember any firings at senior levels though.
