Management (not team managers) are probably some of the worst people I've had the displeasure of interacting with. Constant micromanagement to the point someone breaks down every week. Team managers and team members frequently burn out. I've heard one of the higher management use slurs unironically. Hiring young driven people which can easily be taken advantage of. Management can be really creepy towards all employees especially female. Extreme bullying culture. They make employees write fake reviews and get employees to pressure contractors into making google reviews. Cannot ever switch off. Extremely anxious environment. Unrealistic expectations which are changed at any given time to appease the CEO who is out of touch with reality. "Oh and a quick heads-up for graduates who are checking Ashdown's Glassdoor reviews before making a decision on whether to join: please disregard the positive reviews - most of them are fake. If you're genuinely keen to get into recruitment, take a look at a few other companies instead (it's not overly difficult to get a job in recruitment and other companies will probably start you on $10K higher than at Ashdown). They'll probably say that they'll throw you into the deep end, but what they really mean is that they have no time to train you but they'll still expect you to perform to absolute perfection within your first 2 weeks (near-perfection is never good enough)."
