Pros

Fast-paced and challenging work environment, but the project managers and partners are fair and flexible. Great team-oriented and family feel to the company. You'll want to work hard for this company.

Cons

Careful moving to Bainbridge Island if you're under 40. Other than that there is not much negatives. The pay scale is competitive but not high. However, I have great benefits and do profit sharing bi-annually

Thank you for sharing your feedback! Bainbridge is a quaint town and fortunately just a short ferry ride to Seattle.

Pros

Aspect has a great working culture which is cognizant of a fair, equitable, and generally easy going workplace. Management is reachable, cares about employees, and does a great job making sure that employees have room to grow. There is room to move into employee ownership at certain levels. Extremely good work outlook

Cons

Pay structure and benefits is middle of the road to low for WA, especially considering minimum wage and cost of living. Work pace can be extremely demanding, often a feeling of being understaffed

Pros

The people are great, some projects are unique and interesting, and there is current movement on diversity and inclusion which I appreciate.

Cons

Although Aspect presents itself as a unique small firm, a lot of the issues are the same as the large firms. Field staff are overworked, underpaid, and generally undervalued. There is high pressure to be extremely billable, which is a constant stressor for those who don't have long term high budget projects. There is a lack of training in all departments, because of the focus on billable hours. Because the company is relatively new, a lot of people were able to move up the ranks quickly and now newer people (hired within the last 5 years) generally won't have the same ability to move up. Of course, they don't present it that way and come up with all of these metrics when really it's wholly dependent on your studios rate of growth and turnover.
