Pros

- Fast learning environment - Good platform to start if you're new to the field - Ideal for gaining experience - Paid off days during school holidays

Cons

- Pay is low - Lunch break frequently compromised to take care of children without much compensation - Workload is pretty heavy (long hours of session)

Pros

- fantastic training provided - lots of Malay staff so don't worry about prayer times - Friday got 2 hour break so Muslim staff can go pray - last time pantry got food stocked. Now not too sure. -Annual dinners, company trip, staff activities a few times a year -Malay, Indian, muslim staff

Cons

- boss only wants more customers -Less care for the staff mental health - will deduct your pay if there's broken/missing toys -Very less pay for the effort we put in - Sometimes Saturday got training whole day. - Team Lead and Supervisor always observe your sessions (micromanaging) - increment sometimes less than RM 100. - very high turnover -Very rigid with their methods. -More towards old-school (eg: writing reports by hand)

Pros

1) Love the training provided (but this is 3 years ago’s story). 2) Hired special HR from outside company to improve the company overall

Cons

1) They changed the trainer(s) and the training systems, which I think it’s not as solid as before that the quality of new employer is bad. 2) But no improvement made after the result of interviewing all of the employer including cleaner and security guard 3) No time for admin work 4) Observed racism and favouritism in the company 5) Questionable decision making from the case supervisor - company run for money (my personal opinions) 6) Compassionate towards clients, but don’t care about interventionist’s well-being 7) Limited AL quota due to understaffed 8) They will send you anywhere is needed (transfer between branches / shadow aide at school / home-based session) and you don’t have right to say no (according to company’s handbook) 9) Case supervisor giving good news during opening / closing but did not obey their own says (eg: says that Friday training is only once every two weeks, but they do every weeks).
