Pros

Aviall provides many opportunites for personal growth and increasing responsibilities, which fuels engagement and continuous improvement in order for one to be ready for the next challenge presented. Outstanding sales and customer service training program, which has brought a high level of professionalism to the sales organization. Multi-level incentivized compensation program that is designed around team performance on all levels, but with a heavier weighting on base pay. International company, with a local footprints around the globe.

Cons

The most consistent challenge is "change" and that isn't necessarily a con, unless you are not about embracing continuous learning and developing new skills sets. Through the years, the sales training program has done a nice job of coaching the sales organization to embrace change while developing innovative solutions for our customers with the new tools constantly being presented by the business to fuel our growth.

Pros

Performance based, Plenty of advancement available, great management, laid back atmosphere, Minimal work load, bonuses for doing your job, cross training opportunities across the business, Fully Air conditioned Warehouse, tons of paid holidays, vacation time gets approved easily, people notice when you do good and give kudos, no union, pension, 401k matched 6%, employee events. Pay is extremely generous for the job functions. Plenty of room for advancement.

Cons

Not all, but many employees complain too much, are selfish, and want everything handed to them without putting in any effort. Many have been there for years and have not moved up and choose to blame everyone but themselves. And they don't look outside their job tier, like taking a lateral move. The company will continue to give these employees more instead of getting new employees, this is due to a very employee sympothic and sided HR department. Also many forget or just don't care what the importance is on how they effect the internal/external customer, including management, it seems most just want to get through the day and go home.

Growth is limited, Boeing is now taking an interest in the Aviall business, not very good at communication

Decent Pay , air conditioned place , nice co workers , bonus if you make it to a full time employee

Cons

Long hours , Boring work , no manager support , tenured associates not looking to change , they preach aviation atmosphere but nothing more than a box moving mill

Pros

Recognized leader in the aviation world. Good pay, average benefits

Cons

Aviall transitioned away from long established senior management in mid 2012, then most of the former middle management were run off. Went from a nice place to work, to a sweat shop in just 6 months. SAP conversion is a disaster, it's nearly ruined the company. Sales in the toilet, the customers hate us. Management could care less about employees, they literally want you to work until you drop. Many employees are sick from stress & want out.

Pros

Aviall has a good benefits package, including 9 paid holidays and 1 floating holiday, as well as the company contributing to the cost of insurance. The upper management is well versed in the aviation field as well as other pertinent areas.

Cons

The yearly pay increase for many non-management employees has not kept up with the cost of living, for several years now.
