Pros

A few people are nice. That's about it.

Cons

* The management is abysmal. They provide no meaningful feedback and no direction. They gossip and speak poorly of employees behind their backs, creating a toxic environment. * The CEO makes snap judgements about people and holds onto them. * The compensation is way below average, especially for a for-profit company. I could see some of their salaries being on par with a nonprofit, but I've worked at nonprofits that payed better than Axio. * There is a high turnover because employees often dislike their work and they get too much of it. * The employees tend to form social cliques which can hinder communication and development of camaraderie. * The only real opportunities for advancement for biostatisticians is to become project managers and effectively abandon statistics. However, the biostatisticians barely end up doing any statistics anyway. * There is very little training. All of the biostatisticians and SAS programmers basically start as junior SAS programmers, regardless of their expertise, doing tedious review of output.
