I have been working at B&M Retail part-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

I have no pros.. its a horrible company to work for. Worse job iv ever had. Dont know why iv lasted so long

    Cons

Working here would seriously damage your mental health. Iv lasted 6 years.. how iv managed that i dont know. Management havent got a clue, no moral in the drumchapel store, staff are nasty bullys.. manager changes rota without telling you or takes hours off you and gives to her favourites. They expect too much esp on a 4 hour shift, cash office manager is rude and speaks to his staff like dirt, till staff slow, and back stabbing is unreal, its like being at school, staff have came in drunk, on drugs and all sorts. I wont be there much longer

    Advice to Management

Get training! Train your staff.. dont have favourites... stop being 2 faced towards each other

    Pros

Most staff easy to get along with

    Cons

Poor Pay, hard to Book time off, Poor Management, don't feel valued

    Advice to Management

Certain members of the team need to have they're people skills looked at. Favouritism in store causing rifts in staff moral. Maybe a bit of recognition to all Staff would help. I didn't even get a leaving goodbye or thankyou.
