Before the acquisition, BTB Security has a combination of solid leadership and decent processes. It was by no means perfect though as their processes were a bit dated.
Cons
All was decent at BTB Security until a private equity firm, which owns Netrix Global, acquired five companies, including BTB Security, with Netrix managing said companies. Do yourself a favor and look over the reviews for Netrix Global to get a good picture of what's going on. But basically, ever since the acquisition, there was a slow decay of the company, mainly due to bad, unethical leadership. Most people are biding time to make their next career move during the huge wave of departures. Most of the systems and processes in place were managed by ex-employees, and there's a lot of knowledge gaps with the wave of resignations. It's pretty unfortunate things had to turn out the way they did, but such is life. If you want to get a similar experience to BTB Security per-acquisition, network with security professionals who are forming small companies.
