      Poorly Run, Fallen Behind

      Pros

      Interesting industry, good potential client set, some good people. International footprint a plus.

      Cons

      Poor management team, “my way or the highway” CEO, lack of market fit, culture is really bad, lack of support, no payrises or bonuses.

      Pros

      It can be hit or miss with managers, but I personally had a great manager who was super supportive and allowed me to grow immensely during my time at BME. A lot of my colleagues were genuinely great people too, and I loved the diversity with many people from different countries and cultures.

      Cons

      Waaay too ambitious for the reality of the company. Each person probably does the job of around 5 people. Yes, it's a start-up, but if people are overworked, severely undertrained, and have to deal with a 'my way or the highway' attitude from some members of leadership, it's not a great environment to work in.

      Pros

      Plenty of freedom to share ideas and contribute to growing the company, complex product/system, but very well built and great functionality. Some of the people were great to work with.

      Cons

      Bad top management, not genuine, high workload, model is hard to scale, organization isn't focussed on people
