Great Product, Talented Team – But Leadership Instability Holds It Back

Pros

The product is genuinely impactful — Beamer is solving a real problem in user communication for SaaS companies. Worked with some incredibly smart and motivated teammates across Product and Engineering. Remote-first culture provides flexibility and autonomy. Opportunities to take initiative and build things from scratch if you're self-driven.

Cons

Leadership instability is a major concern. Strategic decisions often feel reactive rather than well-planned, creating an environment of uncertainty. The recent layoff was poorly communicated and seemed driven more by internal leadership misalignment than financial necessity. Unfortunately, my role was impacted. Lack of clear vision or long-term planning makes it difficult for teams to align and perform at their best. Feedback from cross-functional teams is often dismissed, and transparency from the top is limited. No structured career path or growth plan — you may feel like you're treading water if you're not in the immediate spotlight.
