Terrible - Stay Far Away

Pros

The pay was better than most for the role.

Cons

Despite the role paying more than other companies - it was not worth the experience here. The culture and dynamic of the company was terrible. Senior Leadership are filled with people who I'm assuming were promoted too quickly and have no idea what they are doing and are 'yes people' and do not care about the consequences of their actions. In fact, like the previous review says, leadership actually DOES throw you under the bus for things you didn't do or even participate in to cover themselves. They embody toxicity which trickles down to it's team which makes the workplace awful especially since we have to go in 3 times a week and more soon. The few people that are valuable to the business all leave quickly. You and your opinions are not valued in the slightest. There is constant babysitting because no one does what they need to do or has any real instruction. The phrase 'running around like a chicken with its head cut off' was always a cliché thing to say but this is actually what this company feels like because everyone looks frantic and like they don't know what they are doing. They will feed you a lot of fake comradery and how great everything is during the interview but it is all a lie. Do not accept a job from here. Literally any other company is a better option even if it offers less money. This will end up just being a bad look on your resume and fill you with regret.

Pros

Pay is actually good. The same positions pay higher than other agencies.

Cons

If you Google the company culture of L’Oréal, you’ll see how bad it is. Unfortunately, those client leads have certainly brought that toxic culture to this newly founded agency. They don’t work with you against problems. Instead, they work against you and intentionally create obstacles to make your work harder, for whatever reasons. Some of the clients have no integrity at all and they actually lie about things to cover their own a**. On the agency side, the senior leadership has been busy pleasing and over promising the clients. They say yes to whatever requests those unreasonable clients ask for without consulting their own teams whether those requests make sense at all. Some of the senior leaders are very “smart” and hide behind the scenes and let their own team deal with unfair criticisms. Even worse, these senior leaders throw their own teams under the bus to please the clients. They would give clear instructions internally and let the teams present those ideas but when the very ideas are questioned or criticized, they would tell the clients they didn’t approve those ideas (you know who you are, TT). Overall, turn over rate is extremely high. Do NOT take the offer cuz you will lose your job one way or another in a few months. The president herself left the company.
