Be ready for very poor management
Pros
Great location when it was in Hammersmith as you could live locally. Interesting work. Great exposure to the inner workings of a huge multinational engineering company. The first 3 years were rewarded through salary increases and bonuses however restructuring and company poor performance in UK saw this nose dive.
Cons
There was no performance management for poor performers. Culture was simply to promote out of the way. Even if you were a star performer, basic management was to promise you things that wouldn't happen. Performance model very engineer focussed. Bullying management ignored by HR. UK salaries were not reviewed for inflation while US were from about 2014. It was very much a culture of you had to be American to get to the top. Very much an old boys club. Did not take security concerns regarding Park Royal location seriously at all.
