I feel compelled to share my concerns about the serious discrimination based on ethnicity within the company. Recently, when it was announced that a junior asian team member would be joining us, I was disheartened to witness senior managers, including HR, making inappropriate comments about the person's gender based on their name. It was astonishing to see employees placing bets on her gender and eagerly anticipating her first day just to satisfy their curiosity. This kind of behavior speaks volumes about the lack of cultural awareness in the workplace. As a predominantly white british organization, many employees seem to struggle to engage with the concept of diversity. The casual speculation during working hours about someone’s gender simply because their name sounds different is quite telling. As a white british employee, I find it embarrassing to be part of an environment where such attitudes are tolerated. Moreover, the CEO seems very disconnected from the staff, which doesn’t inspire much confidence that this issue will be addressed anytime soon. It’s hard to believe that any meaningful change will happen when leadership appears so out of touch. I genuinely hope the company takes the necessary steps to create a more inclusive atmosphere, but I’m not holding my breath.

Pros

The people working here are genuine, hard working. Intelligent also.

Cons

Awful C-suite, have no real compassion or care for staff, often playing people off against each other. Most of the suite have been there from the start and now do not challenge the CEO or take responsibility, too afraid of losing their jobs so they blame others. They over sell and under deliver on all clients as they do not have the right leadership to do otherwise. You will see them promote the great work they have done with clients on social channels, but do not be fooled, they are 10+ year old projects, nothing of late. Bonuses are sold into the dream, but seldom delivered as they cannot get their HR in order (example of very poor leadership). Hence they have talent coming in and out very quickly. Extremely poor tenures.

Cons

Management demonstrated little regard for employee well-being or procedural fairness, particularly when handling sensitive matters. Communication was poor, and decisions often felt rushed or arbitrary, creating a hostile work environment. Lack of support for neurodiverse employees, Leadership think it’s ok to employ a ‘one size fits all’ approach. The company’s handling of my concerns has been so poor that I have had to escalate the matter through formal channels.
