Pros

Nice modern offices and private healthcare included in contract

Cons

The business is being run in to the ground by inept and unqualified senior leadership. Staff are constantly afraid of losing their job due to the incredibly high turnover, mostly due to leadership choosing as and when they no longer require your services and lay you off with questionable legality. Most members of staff have expressed concern over workloads, partly due to there being a new team every couple of months, thus meaning experience is scarce. Training is non existent, members of staff are promoted without logic or reasoning, for the most part these staff are highly unqualified for their role and are hired/promoted due to being a family member or close friend of the managing director. Positive reviews on this site are almost certainly these particular individuals. Certain staff members, mostly senior, stay behind and work overtime that of which is unpaid. Then in part expect you to do the same. If you are late, expect to be reprimanded in public and quite often humiliated, if you sit up from your desk before 5pm exactly, expect the same outcome but in an office wide email. Small talk with colleagues is frowned upon, making friends is seen as a distraction to your work and senior leadership will often go out of their way to ensure friendships are kept to a minimum, by means of moving people to another desk across the office. Avoid ever even consider working here at all.

Pros

Comfortable chairs, clean office, nice coffee machine.

Cons

They expect you to work overtime daily without extra pay. Gossip and drama occur so much here that it is like working with children. Favouritism and, especially, nepotism run the show. Nothing is done confidentially. Any form of reprimands or private discussions of the sort are discussed by everyone whether you agree to this or not. Training is abysmal. It consists of telling you about the products, then sticking you in front of a computer and they want you to figure it out on your own. "Sink or swim" is what we were told. You can ask for more help, however everyone is "too busy to get that sorted too." People in charge are beyond unprofessional. Wearing a tie or a nice dress doesn't make you a professional- just like slamming doors and cursing at your staff doesnt either. Wouldn't go near it unless you want to work overtime with no pay in an environment more toxic than a primary school's gossipy olunch table.

Pros

Some decent colleagues who try to make the work environment better despite the challenges. The company offers a somewhat flexible work environment in terms of hours, but that's about where the positives end.

Cons

Toxic work culture: There's a noticeable bullying atmosphere, with management using intimidation tactics rather than constructive feedback. Unrealistic expectations and unpaid overtime: The company frequently expects employees to work overtime without compensation, which leads to burnout and frustration but management do not care one bit. Poor communication: Promises made by management are rarely kept. Whether it’s about career growth, salary increases, or even basic perks, they NEVER follow through. Low salaries: Compensation is below industry standards, and even though more responsibility is often expected, pay does not reflect that. Restrictive work environment: Talking or socialising in the office is always discouraged, creating a stifling atmosphere where employees feel like they’re just numbers rather than valued team members. The “Management” team have not got a qualification between them. These people are only hired due to being “friends” of the MD. I say that because they all talk about each other behind their backs. Disgusting! The company has an extremely high turnover rate with layoffs occurring regularly, which creates a constant sense of instability. This absolutely affects morale and job security for employees. Beware!!! Will you be in a job next month? Who knows!
