      Great cause, poor management and strategy which has led to an uncertain future

      Pros

      -Great cause for potential global impact although exactly how is unclear. -Very diverse team and talented. -Good focus on culture, internal education and supporting diversity.

      Cons

      -Lost confidence in senior management's ability to make good decisions and effectively grow the business. Struggling startup and executives seem lost on direction and strategy. -Lots of concerning turnover lately in key/vital positions; signs of troubled journey ahead. A number of very talented management team members are no longer with the company. - Beware: ask lots of questions on strategy and growth plans and ask for proof of results (how they are performing to targets and expectations) before accepting a job offer.

      Pros

      Interesting technical problems. Lots of potential for personal growth. Good natured and intelligent people.

      Cons

      Poor management focus. Constant quarterly lay-offs of valuable technical personnel with no plans to replace the software they were responsible for. Very unstable even for long-term seniors despite positive long-term funding displays being made in company-wide meetings. Priorities constantly shifting with no real goals for measurable progress. Have never seen a person come back from parental leave, or even be able to take it before being let go once public about it. Would heavily caution anyone expecting to start a family while working here to look elsewhere.

      Friendly people and good location of office

      Cons

      Chaos at the management level. Product is a mess, product head is clueless, poor sales performance, strategy constantly changing. Revolving door of lots of layoffs and terminations due to continual poor company results. Lots of company wide pressure to perform but little support and understanding of how to build and run a successful company. Lots of nerves and anxiety felt coming from management. Fake tech startup culture.
