Funky Place but a Toxic Culture

Pros

Generally the staff try to look after each other, however there is a lack of accountability.

Cons

Every conversation is about trying to charge clients more and not adding value. No real concern for employees and there is a toxic masculine culture that is embarrassing in this day and age.

Pros

-young and entrepreneurial atmosphere at the company -some days with free lunch

Cons

-not sure about rest of blue rock but DO NOT join Blue Rock Digital as they will most likely lay you off before Christmas -below industry average salary packages - had great 1:1s for my one month, three months and my fifth month. However due to my expression of interest to learn other things (they pretend to promote an open communication environment), they decide to use that excuse to not pass me on my probation despite my great performance and desire to do well in my job. -utterly disappointed and felt miserable to lose my job before Christmas despite my great work ethics and eagerness to help out the team. What I’ve learnt is do not trust companies or management when they claim to promote an open and honest environment as reality it won’t do you any benefit.
