Highly politics , some function are abnormally powerful , some functions are too weak ,some people grew up in this company and control everything ,setup rules for what you can do what you can not do. all your work is under close minitor . You can not say different opinions, layoff any time without formal evaluation or explanation.

There is a reason why CEO Chiang Li's biotech start-ups never had any clinical success. Regardless of how much he preaches that he cares about patients and making a contribution to medicine, he is a businessman, nothing more, nothing less. He's in the business of starting a start-up, generating convincing enough data that he can sweet talk bigger pharmaceutical companies into purchasing. Just like his idol Steve Jobs (he even dresses similar to Jobs), he bullies and belittles his employees in front of people and displays the same narcissism. He makes sales pitch to his employees about what kind of difference we are making to patients and how scientists are at the core of the company, etc. etc. which is all BS. I don't have to go into too much detail. You will notice how all the positive reviews sound the same and pretty short. There's no raving reviews. All the negative reviews are quite extensive and very detailed. I really don't need to add much more to it.
