Pros

The only positive aspect was the friendly coworkers who shared the same frustrations.

Cons

The management at BrightView Behavioral Health is highly unprofessional. They often ignore staff concerns and fail to provide necessary resources, which severely impacts our ability to effectively help of clients. The workload is overwhelming and unrealistic. There is a constant push to for more work, leading to burnout and decreased quality of work. The pay is significantly lower than industry standards, with minimal opportunities for raises or bonuses. The benefits package is also subpar, offering limited health coverage and no real incentives. The training provided is inadequate, leaving employees ill-prepared to handle the complex cases we encounter daily. There is little to no ongoing professional development. The work environment is highly stressful and toxic. High turnover rates are common, and there's a palpable lack of morale among staff.

Pros

The families and supervisors are friendly and are the only ones that actually care.

Cons

They don’t care about the clients. The owners only care about the money and are checked out from reality. HR, COO, and Director of operations are a joke. HR will do what’s best for the company not the employees. You are just a number in the revolving door of employees. If clients go on hold or anything in admin goes wrong somehow it’s the clinical teams fault and their way to “fix” the problem is to hire more admin, not provide adequate raises, and continue to stack on work on supervisors causing employees to walk a moral tightrope with what is right and ethical and wanting to keep a job. You do not get paid time off instead you get requested time off which they may not approve even though you are still fulfilling the required hours. If you want to lose love for the field this is the place do you!
