Pros

It saddens me to say there are none, save for a few exceptionally bright, motivated and caring staff members.

Cons

If you value your personal well-being, do no work here. From poor management, a vast majority of incompetent and lazy staff who are focused more on their personal drama than work, being chronically understaffed, unsafe working conditions, outdated equipment and methods, HR not addressing big issues appropriately, predatory male staff, unqualified supervisors, hostile and threatening coworkers, missing medications and bounced checks, I have never seen such a corrupt mess. Upper management is concerned primarily with their monetary gain at the expense of employee well-being and patients' recovery. They will lock employees in the building, refusing to let them exit after their shift despite failing to mandate. I have seen too many wonderful, happy people have their souls crushed by working in this toxic environment.

Pros

Dedicated staff who works well in a challenging environment. Works well to accommodate scheduling and time off as needed. Recruitment of new quality staff and supervision is helping to move organization in a positive direction.

Cons

Level of professionalism and competence is widely varied and inconsistent. Some employees are enabled to act in their own interest while others pick up their slack. Non-existent accountability and consequences. Some employees are well beyond their shelf life and contribute little in their role. Organization is handicapped by their inability to problem solve and implement process changes.

Pros

Company paid health insurance for single employees. Central convient location in the city on bus line.

Cons

Mandatory overtime, patients and staff spreading viruses, insect infested building, poor structure, lack of quality and checks, unsafe environment, lack of empathetic leaders, antiquated equipment and facilities, no computerized digital charting, handwritten messy illegible charts and doctor orders, filthy conditions on patient units with blackened carpets and missing or broken equipment, smelly dirty building, lack of parking, no affordable health insurance options for dependents of staff, chronic understaffing, unreasonable workloads, mandatory overtime, unprofessional staff fighting frequently, staff yelling at patients. The place is out of control. Low wages.
