Pros

Reasonable work hours and that is it

There's a review on here from one year ago that truly summarizes everything "leader takes credit for others' work, does not appreciate employees, micromanages, unable to trust, plays favorites, does not provide realistic direction, puts you down in front of everybody, heavy workload, and manipulator." I wish I would've taken this to heart when I read it before accepting the offer because it is true. I would add there is a HIGH turnover, the ceo takes many shortcuts and is cheap to try to rise to the top. If you want respect and to work for an ethical company who really cares about their employees, looks elsewhere.

My worst work experience ever

Some great coworkers who all left in less than a year.

Cons

- Micromanagement to the extreme - CEO makes all decisions regardless of her actual ability and won't listen to employees with decades more experience - Zero understanding of or desire to win business legitimately

Literally I did not see any pros

Cons

Compensation is significantly below market rate for similar contracts in the DC area. There is no 401(k) offered, and health insurance benefits are limited compared to industry standards. Leadership is a major concern. The CEO frequently communicates performance concerns through late-night emails without first engaging directly with reporting managers or team leads. Feedback often appears based on assumptions rather than firsthand understanding of employee responsibilities or actual performance. This pattern has created a stressful and discouraging environment, and several employees have experienced similar treatment. Greater accountability, structured communication processes, and respectful leadership practices would greatly improve morale and retention.

It's a job with a salary

-Micromanaging CEO -No respect for employees - Unrealistic and unreasonable work expectations - No company culture or sense of teamwork. If you want to work like a hostage in your own silo, essentially chained to your desk for 8 hours, this is the place for you - No flexibility or understanding employees have responsibilities outside of the job - No possibility for advancement - I agree completely with this review from 2 years ago that was also cited by another reviewer: "leader takes credit for others' work, does not appreciate employees, micromanages, unable to trust, plays favorites, does not provide realistic direction, puts you down in front of everybody, heavy workload, and manipulator."

The CEO is kind and hard working and tries not to stress one person and evens out the work for everyone.

Sometimes they require additional support.

Pros

Amazing work environment, with lots of great people. The CEO is very kind and responsible and knows what to do to make sure the work gets done. Would definitely recommend working here if you can handle a busy schedule.

Because the company isn't quite big yet, there is heavy demand and a busy schedule
