In 2022, China's largest energy distribution company (SGID) acquired CGE, setting targets to take care of Customers and People.. but CGE has many challenges with both objectives. In the next 10 years, a transformation in the industry is coming that will open up many challenges and opportunities. CGE pays good salaries and opens up opportunities for many, and is trying to generate more female leadership input.
Cons
The working culture is not the most suitable for developing teams after Naturgy's administration (cut costs to the bone, then sell it at twice the price). Long working hours, leaders overwhelmed by the agendas of authorities and profitability, cause little concern for people and customers.
