I have been working at Cardlytics full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Interesting data challenges, good pay, relaxed atmosphere, decent social side, friendly colleagues.

    Cons

Chaotic at times, but it is still a start up. Most grumbles are IT and infrastructure related, but most of these are outside management control. Non-monetary benefits are either bare minimum, or industry basic. Nothing special.

    I worked at Cardlytics full-time

    Pros

Most engineering teams foster a good culture and are good places to learn. Good technology vision with technology leadership wanting to innovate continuously. Balanced work ethic and culture within the engineering org. Workplace has easy access to good restaurants and location is preferred.

    Cons

Non engineering orgs like business and technology operations lack support, visibility and vision from leadership. Rigid organizational structure with minimum room for growth within organization. Lack of diversity in non engineering groups.

    I worked at Cardlytics full-time

    Pros

Best in class product - nothing compares in the marketplace

    Cons

A management culture that hopes to see employees fail rather than prosper. Complete micromanagement. If you're not part of the new leadership crew you are not valued.

I have been working at Cardlytics full-time

    Pros

Cardlytics is in a unique position, with a near-monopoly of banking channels and data associated with customer spending habits. We're working to harness that more and it provides us lots of opportunities for new products and engineering innovation. It's a fun time to work here. Cardlytics' company culture encourages having fun, collaborating, and sharing your opinions widely.

    Cons

Leadership. There's a growing division between the old guard - those in management who have been with the company since it was founded - and fresh faces with new ideas. Many of these "old guards" have a vested interest in maintaining the status quo because change would potentially diminish their value to the company and even make their jobs obsolete. As a result, the vision that management paints is often contradictory, confusing, and variable - this makes day-to-day work challenging as we try to figure out what direction to go in. We've scrapped multi-month projects because of this. In the same vein, there are plenty of leaders who have only been promoted because of their tenure with the company, not because of deep knowledge or skills. They actively hold Cardlytics back from innovating because of their incompetence and/or lack of deep understanding about the technical ins-and-outs of how we do business. Finally, our CEO is consistently tone-deaf, especially when handling issues that arise in the company. She needs to figure out how to be an inspiring, effective, and unifying leader. She often calls Cardlytics "her third child," and unsurprisingly, she often treats employees like children.

I worked at Cardlytics full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Good start up to work for , if u are looking for a young energetic crowd. Great energy , awesome people , and a cool work environment. Nice colorful 4 people booths everywhere in office for 1-on-1/small meetings or lunch, some cute games and swings hanging here and there that adds a casual touch and a workout area and yoga/meditation area for employees .

    Cons

You have to dig your way into ur team and other teams, everyone is very busy and occupied , so one needs to be more friendly and open to get to know whats happening in and around the Company.
