Here's A Company That Does Not Care About The Employees
Pros
Friendly and accommodating middle management
Cons
This company was sold by a private owner to a bunch of investors 2-3 years ago and the new management has decided their business plan is a race to the bottom in terms of the employees. While other companies with essential employees paid bonuses through Covid, this company did not even buy donuts. Raises over the last 2 years were 2%/ year. No Christmas bonus. The quality of healthcare the company 401K participation have fallen off a cliff and most recently, the company took a week of vacation from everyone and turned it into sick time, meaning when you leave the company, you won't get paid out and if you use 3 or more days in a row, you need a MD note. I was a great employee for this company. I did not call off for 6+ years. When they were short handed, I cut my vacation short and came back. When my brother needed a part time job, I'd connected him to this company. I would never do any of that now. This company will squeeze the workers to death to give the new owners another buck.
