Pros

- It's arguably better than nothing... but even that is debatable. - Once you leave this place the only way is up. Seriously when you start at a decent company you will realise how terrible this place truly is.

Cons

- Senior employees asked to submit positive reviews on here to paper over the numerous genuine bad reviews - Toxic environment in most teams that results in a revolving exit door and grads often leaving within a year or two of arrival - Inaccurate job description means many grads only realise after being in the role for a couple of months that they've been brought in to work as glorified project managers. (The actual project managers are the nicest people at the company by a mile and don't get sufficient recognition for their hard work) - False progression fools grads into thinking they can progress when actually the differences between most junior roles is minor. - Excessive overtime and unhealthy stress levels are dismissed by managers and there is no recognition of employees going the extra mile. Leaving on time is seen as something to be looked down upon and there's something very backwards about a company working with healthcare companies that thinks it's okay for its staff to have no work like balance and be unhealthily stressed at work. People crying at their desk late in the evening is not unheard of. - The company goes to great lengths on assessment days to come across as a friendly place. Do not believe the mask, listen to the negative reviews on here and know that there are many people that have shared these views and not left reviews.

Pros

No pros I could add.

Cons

Poor career progression, lots of politics and clique behaviours, never seen any other workplace where people seem to have no life outside of their workplace and date and marry within the same company in large numbers. Not recommended for anyone with career ambitions, real skills and who is not looking to join what is a kindergarden for adults. Stay away!

Pros

Free daily tea, coffee, fruit and biscuits. Christmas presents, random treats during the year. Work from home once a week after successful probation period. Early finish on Friday.

Cons

Cliche style environment. If you choose to keep to yourself, you're likely to be made to feel like the odd one. Unapproachable senior directors. Management do not take on enough to help their teams during the busiest times of the year. No support structure. No development, learning or career opportunities for non research staff. Very stretched workforce. Like it or lump it type attitude from management. People leave and their job responsibilities are added to existing employees jobs which makes it harder to ensure quality and attention is given to the main responsibilities. When team members leave and teams are constantly under pressure to perform. Retention is awful.
