Pros

The job does have some downtime. The coworkers were decent and, if there are two cashiers on duty, your responsibilities shouldn't be to difficult to keep up with.

Cons

Being that I had to work most shifts alone, due to being short-staffed and poor scheduling, the workload can be a bit much for a single person to handle. Management will expect you to juggle making stocking fridges/shelves, frequently mopping/sweeping floors, keep fresh coffee on rotation, and clean bathrooms alongside regular cashier duties. It can be difficult to stay on top of everything if you are alone.

Cons

Hostile work environment Working in inhumane conditions Retaliation against workers The management doesn’t like when you speak up about issues at the workplace, they will cut your hours, and look for any reason to fire you.
