Pros

The Sales team is full of young people starting out at their first job in their career. Fun atmosphere at work socials. Pay was reasonable.

Cons

Witnessed a lot of unethical behaviours from leadership - the main reason I left. Suspect that they recruit so many young and inexperienced people as this allows them to get away with behaviours and situations that would not be accepted by experienced professionals. Were not open to anyone's ideas other than the two founders (fair enough - it is their company, but felt like I was unable to contribute or explore ways of working). It's their way or the highway. Many ideas I suggested were implemented after I left and touted as the founders own (under the guise of them looking out for employees, when I had been fighting those two people to try and have them implemented previously). People fired quickly and without warning if not performing exactly as desired by the two founders. Did not trust staff to work from home so it was everyday in the office

Pros

I can't think of any pros about working for this company

Cons

Useless product - many business banking apps now have the functionalities their tool offers No defined role - I was forced to do sales even though it was not originally in the role agreed and without any of the incentives salespeople have Awful management - No processes were documented, very chaotic way of working Very low pay - for a London fintech, they were underpaying their team Poor treatment - I was terminated abruptly during lockdown, and they refused to send a courier to retrieve their laptop while there was almost no public transport

Pros

Was a great company to work for, before the owners Brad and Christina decided to sack 80% of the whole sales team via email

Cons

Not enough space to list all of them. The owner Brad has the social skills of a reticulated Python. Completely socially inept and has no idea how to run a company. The co-founder Christina is the angel of death, whenever she speaks people get sacked (via email). If you join this company please don’t financially leverage yourself by paying rent. Stay as far away as you can, unemployment is better than the mentals running the asylum that is Cledara.
