I think there is a massive, underlying disrespect to particular roles, in general, in this company.
The executive team expect some to be “seen not heard”.
Privacy is breached, demoralising comments are made and rumours are spread on the daily with mangers the worst offenders.
There’s no consequences for them though.
If a mere mortal employee makes a small invoicing mistake they are threatened with termination OR worse.
They refused to pay us all our annual bonus and in the same breath forced us all into a black tie affair so they could boast further about their wealth and how fantastic they are! It’s pretty gross.
They either didn’t realise OR didn’t care the money we had to fork out, to pay for our outfits,to fit their perceived high-end image, for the self serving event, was money taken from our kids Christmas presents.
The whole workforce hates the management.
Picture the worst years of highschool.. that’s what Coates is like. You are judged on your ability to behave like sheep - “do as they say, not as they do” is a common theme here. There’s no adult conversations just a bunch of brats that sit around sipping piccolos judging your every move based on nothing more than conjecture and petty gripes. You can’t ever dare challenge the management team - anyone that does is forced out of the business. Everyone leave broken.
Probably not for the faint hearted.
