Pros

Nice people to work with. Opportunities for career progression were good for the right candidates. Benefits are ok. Annual salary review process. Doesn't guarantee an increase but at least it's "reviewed".

Cons

Watford location is is not what you expect / want from one of the top credit insurers in the world. Needs to be in the city. Limited delegations for the UK team. Too much control from head office in Paris. Takes too long to manoeuvre to compete with the market. Head office out of touch with the UK market and therefore some strategic decisions made in Paris aren't suitable for the UK. Paris needs to listen more to the UK management team about what is needed in the UK. Too many "yes men" - Paris says jump and they say how high without questioning. Too much focus on cost cutting to the detriment of increasing/improving the business.
