Pros

Not sure what the pros can be , in hindsight it was a bad decision .

Cons

Be careful, the firm is just crypto bros calling themselves institutional but truely are a retail shop. Not sure what they want so impacts people's career as they get hired for one thing then get replaced because they decided to pivot. Your cv will come out poor .

Pros

I've been at CoinRoutes for four years, and it's shaped my career. I was promoted into senior leadership from within the company, a path made possible because the founders took the time to teach me the industry. That investment paid off for all of us, and it reflects how this company develops its people rather than just hiring around them. The founders are also funny, real people, the kind you want to be around, which keeps the work human even when the pace is demanding. When I arrived, we were a small startup. As we've grown, we've had to build real processes and structure, and that journey has had its ups and downs. This is a volatile industry, and we've had to face that volatility head on, learning and adapting as we went. It's not always comfortable, but it's been rewarding. Things move fast here, but there's flexibility too. If you have trouble handling change, this probably isn't the right environment for you. But if you want something exciting, where you help build something as it grows, this is the place. One of the things I'm proudest of is that CoinRoutes is profitable. In the digital assets space, that's rare, and it matters. It feels like stability in a sector that doesn't always offer it. Our CEO built a product that makes institutional trading better, full stop. Last year we acquired a portfolio management company to round out our offering, and right now we're building our most ambitious product to date, one our clients want and need. In an industry with a lot of noise, CoinRoutes cuts through it. The pay is competitive, the bonuses and benefits are strong, and the company even covers lunch every day. The founders are generous, and those things add up. They signal a leadership team that takes care of its people. On a personal level, I've built genuine relationships both internally and externally, and the company has trusted me to travel on its behalf and represent us on panels and podcasts. That trust has stretched me in the best way. I also relocated to another country, and the company supported me through that move. I also genuinely enjoy my team. The people I lead and mentor are smart, hardworking, and the kind of people I respect, and that makes the day to day a lot easier. Since our current CEO took over, we've expanded globally. We're growing our reach into Asia, and because our industry trades 24/7, a presence across multiple time zones is necessary. The leadership here is diverse, transparent, and resilient. There's a real momentum to being part of a company that's growing and evolving like this. If you're willing to put in the work, this company will match your efforts, and you'll see the results. That has been true for me, and it's why I'd recommend it to anyone serious about building a career in this space.

Cons

There aren't too many cons, but to name a few: the pace is fast and the industry is volatile, so priorities can shift quickly. This isn't the place for someone who wants a predictable, slow-moving environment. As a still-growing company, some processes are newer and continue to evolve, so a degree of ambiguity comes with the territory.

Pros

The per diem for lunch

Cons

This is the most toxic, unprofessional and disappointing place I have ever worked. The CEO and CTO are father and son and they fight in the office all of the time making everyone so uncomfortable. There is zero infrastructure creating chaos on a daily basis. There is zero respect and it is 100% politics in there… please save yourself the time and apply elsewhere. There is no future there, you’re going to be disappointed and have your mind blown by the amount of toxicity there is. They have meetings telling you how great the company is and how you won’t find better work anywhere else which is completely manipulative and 100% false. They are going to badmouth you and will not give you any respect. They will tell you that you need to have tough skin to be in that business, which is complete BS because there are fintech companies who treat you with respect - trust me when I say you can do better. I would like to note that I am not a bitter ex employee, but just a person who worked very hard and was treated terribly. I also watched others get treated terribly. You can read this review and throw it out the window or you can take my advice, and dodge the bullet. Good luck to you!
