Pros

Collider fosters an amicable and approachable work environment where management genuinely listens to integrate employee feedback and suggestions. During my time at the company and getting acquainted with all the respective tiers of management, I have found the team is very organized and structured in terms of high-value strategies. They work to actively provide ample resources for professional development for their team, including management training, access to tools, and mentorship. There is a laid-back atmosphere characterized by a humble attitude and hard-working values that make it a pleasant place to work.

Cons

While the pay structure for freelance writers could be more competitive and match some of its rival outlets, the current rates and reward strategies are looking to improve this structure to be on par with other companies in the industry. Despite this area for improvement, Collider is a good and decent starting place for new writers as the editors provide valuable one-on-one feedback to help them develop their writing styles and voice, which is a distinct advantage compared to other companies.
