Companjon has an employee rating of 3.3 out of 5 stars, based on 25 company reviews on Glassdoor which indicates that most employees have a good working experience there.
Smart, inclusive colleagues from diverse backgrounds who worked hard and had fun, even in a pressurised and toxic environment. Some of the executive team were incredible mentors and coaches, too. I really appreciated all of them, they kept me going near the end.
Cons
The company was a vanity project for the CEO who had no experience in tech or start-ups. You were only as good as the work you had done that day and mistakes threatened his ego. If you left the business and had won an award, your photo was removed from the wall.
+The company has genuinely interesting insurance solutions.
+Very flexible in terms of WFH, really excellent in fact and can work from anywhere in Europe for 3 weeks per month.
+Young energetic workforce.
Cons
-Mgmt team is dominated by ex mgmt consultants, with little experience of running a real business.
-CEO has a very dominant personality, and at times does not give teams enough time and space to get on with things themselves.
-This is still a startup in essense, but no future share options are offered to staff which is a real shame.
