Pros
Beautiful building with free drinks.
Cons
Initially the company seemed adamant about keeping their employees and promoting internal growth. However, over the last year the morale of this company has steadily declined. This company has NO work-life balance. Here you will find an incompetent COO who's only doing what she is told, rather than actually using her voice to speak up about the future of the company. There are micro-managers who are extremely insecure, nosy (from PTO requests to digging into your personal life), incompetent of actually processing their own work and often brushes their corrections under the rug but calls out others constantly. Simply managers are managers there because they refuse to leave not because they're capable of actually managing. If you speak to a director about your manager's performance they ignore it and instead points out your imperfections. Then you have another director that's extremely intelligent, however, out of touch when it comes to employees raising concerns about poor management. The vice-president of the company would serve better as the COO. HR is oblivious to it all (keep them at arm's length they cannot be trusted either). As of recently this company has been living a lie, upper management fail to face reality of how horrible the company have become. Every great employee has either left or still thinking of an escape route to get out of that hell hole. The culture of the company is very toxic and will literally make you go crazy. The company was planning to do a major platform change to use their sister company's software. However, before I left training was still unclear, upper-management has been working on this for years and from my understanding the transition has been far from seamless. Meet WIRB 2.0!! If you're reading this I highly suggest you R-U-N. If you're a client reading this I apologize that you were not told this sooner. I suggest that you find another IRB if you have forthcoming deadlines to be met. P.S - I am thankful for no longer an employee of this 'organization' and that I departed long before they hit rock bottom.
