Pros

The work itself is very interesting. Human factors is a pretty niche area and is a nice intersection between a lot of fields. The pay is good. Hybrid is nice if you're the kind of person who needs variety. Travel is nice, IF you're one of your manager's favorites and they send you to the cool places. If your manager doesn't like you, prepare to spend a lot of time in New Jersey.

Cons

I think it probably varies depending on your manager, but the manager I had very clearly didn't like me. She wouldn't assign me any work and then would get upset with me for not having enough billable hours and for "never working on anything." Believe it or not, I actually can't get billable hours if you don't assign me to any projects?
