Cancer like staff. They all hate one another. You would think the executive staff would control this, but the COO Rhonda is actually the one who feeds the flames to this awful culture. Never have I seen a COO stop talking to staff because they disagree with her, and this is the norm here. Because Rhonda has absolutely no idea how revenue cycle actually functions, she just stops talking to her staff when they disagree with her as opposed to listening to them, and or firing them for unruly conduct.. The level of how unprofessional her behavior actually is, is more than your average office dysfunction. She actually spoke at a meeting where she mentioned her degree and why she is smarter than her staff due to it. Her complete lack of billing knowledge as well as her operational knowledge that she "went to school for" has clients deciding to bring their billing in house at a regular rate. The company lost multiple clients in the short time I was with them. In my first three months with the company I analysed an account that hadn't been followed up on credentialing or A/R wise in almost one year which was the actual date the client signed on with them. Claims to multiple carriers had to be written off for timely filing due to this. It was 100’s of thousands of dollars in loss. To be a provider starting his or her own practice and have loss as huge as this is beyond detrimental for them. I left the company within 5 months due to the complete lack of care for clients. The lack of management, focus, and staff moral as a whole made me sure that I did not want to be involved with a company who literally robbed their clients of regular revenue. Rhonda is the most condescending boss I have ever encountered. She should not be allowed to be in charge of people. She is not only not qualified for this role, I believe she has a chemical imbalance of some sort. She is hurtful, demeaning, and made staff cry 5+ times in my short time with the company. I sincerely Hope that Coronis Health sees all of this and removes her from her position.
