Thank you for taking the time to write a review. We do like to think that we have wonderful team members and an awsome management team. Every year we compare our salaries against the other community mental health centers in Indiana, and we are always on par with their average salary, and in many cases we actually have higher salaries.

Pros

Immediate supervisors (team leads, professional development specialists, program directors) are very knowledgeable and supportive. Clinical supervision is provided for licensure. E-learning program provides free CEUs. Opportunity to help children and families struggling with mental health issues. Good trainings on topics such family therapy, trauma informed care, and CBT.

Cons

High turnover due to salary and benefits not being competitive. Other community mental health agencies in Indianapolis provide greater pay and benefits. You have to work 6 months before taking PTO and PTO accrues month-to-month. Salaries are way below the national and state average.

Pros

The mission is good. There are some really good staff who want to fulfill the mission and truly care about the consumers.

Cons

Micromanaging CEO does not trust her staff to do their jobs. She vetoes decisions made by her own exec staff regarding things that she does not understand and keeps the company lagging behind the times. There is no praise or positive feedback for staff, lots of criticism. Even the best effort is not good enough. Buildings are poorly maintained. Staff are forced to share small offices. There is no encouragement to advance or better yourself. Lots of jealousy and resentment. Lots of favoritism. Inflexible work schedules.

Thank you for your feedback and review. We were so happy to read your positive comments regarding our mission and that you believe that our staff want to fulfill that mission and that they truly care about the people that we serve. Our growth has resulted in some of our staff having to share offices, but we try to make those situations be the exception rather than the rule. On many occasions our CEO has provided encouragement and praise to our staff; when needed our CEO will also offer constructive feedback. Unless you are a member of the Executive Staff, I'm not sure that an individual can state for a fact what goes on during the Executive Staff meetings. Again, thank you for your feedback
