It's not cold-calling outside sales so its not that tough
You feel as if you're a part of a community with the rest of the mall workers
It's not mentally or physically exhaustive
Cons
There's no organization what so ever
Sales goals are frankly a ridiculous expectation since a lit of the tune malls are empty and you can't sell to casper
I had the right hand man of the owner come from Boise and supposedly teach me how to sell all he really taught me to do was rip off two little girls out of $40 dollars each for a cover to an iPhone 2ng gen which is super old
Store buys these cases for $1.99 and sell them for $40 if you can that is almost 200% mark up I know its not illegal but its a highly unethical business practice if you ask me
I was fired for supposedly not meeting my sales goals when I was easily one of the top sellers I guess questioning the morality of their prices doesn't settle well with them I wasn't fired face to face I was simply taken out of the schedule I confronted the new manager the owners new puppet and he replied two hours later via text yeah they want me to let you go that is a pathetic way to fire your staff it lacks dignity respect and a spine
Corporate sucks, pushes to oversell to the point of taking too much from vulnerable people. They also publicly (within all the regional store locations) show what level of seller for add-ons you are and put you in red, yellow, green zones. You can also see everyone else.
