• High starting pay as fresh grad

Cons

• Management sucks. will ask you to lead projects even though you fresh grad. • No guidance in the csdp program whatsoever • Then if you screw up, blame and throw u under the bus • No WLB. ask you work even on MC or leave. SAF mentality • Record what time you come office and leave. die die must clock in 9.5 hours but need to work out of office also. Mental health go down the drain • Incompetent management don't know about technical detail

Pros

Good place to start if you’re keen to get exposure on cybersecurity. There are a few very good senior leaders who are respectful and objective e.g. ACEs Work hours are quite fixed. Rarely OT unless there are urgent matters or upcoming announcements.

Cons

While the military culture has improved, there’s still somewhat a blame culture when things go wrong, giving an impression that mistakes are not tolerable. Agency operates almost like a stat board but benefits follow that of ministry - which means a more rigid salary/benefit structure. Bonus tip: avoid Ecosystem Development Division at all costs unless you wish to be in a toxic work environment.
