      Excellent opportunities for strategic LegalTech work

      Pros

      Have some excellent projects at the intersection of FinTech and LegalTech. Good opportunity to learn documentation (esp. capital markets trading documentation basics) and apply this within change. Currently working on an IBOR project to use an Ai tool to extract fallback provisions from documentation at a tier 1 investment bank.

      Cons

      Requires a self starter mentality - but ok if you are prepared to work hard on assignment

      Pros

      Good range of work if you show interest in different topics and show initiative to get involved, also opportunity to work with impressive clients.

      Cons

      However, I didn't feel there was a strong company culture, and experienced a very transaction relationship with the employer with a lack of loyalty even after being praised for good work. Please take extremely positive reviews with a pinch of salt, as when there is a slightly negative review on glassdoor, employees are encouraged to leave positive reviews.

      Great support and large responsibility

      Pros

      Consultants are given a large amount of responsibility working on a variety of matters. Since joining, I have worked on projects for clients based in the U.S, Australia and Europe. The senior staff are very supportive and friendly and often consultants work one-on-one with senior members .

      Cons

      We occasionally work long hours, but that comes with the territory of the industry. But the support we receive from the senior team when working long hours more than makes up for the odd long day.
