We're sorry to hear that your experience at DDC has been so negative. While we know that no workplace is perfect, we genuinely strive to create an environment where all employees, regardless of role or background, feel respected, informed, and valued. It’s clear that in your case, we’ve fallen short, and we regret that.
To clarify one of your concerns: there has never been a plan to move our operations out of state. In fact, in the months since your review, we’ve been actively working to purchase the building we’ve called home for nearly 30 years. That decision reflects our long-term commitment to this location and to our employees in Fairfield.
If this information didn’t make it to you, whether due to communication gaps or a disconnect with the broader organization, we take responsibility for that. Over the past year, we’ve made intentional efforts to improve transparency, sharing updates through Town Halls, company-wide emails, and our quarterly newsletters. We know communication is a recurring theme in employee feedback, and we’re committed to doing better.
We appreciate your honesty, and we wish you the best moving forward — whether that means continuing your journey with us or finding a company that better aligns with what you're looking for. Thank you again for taking the time to share your thoughts.
