Pros

Only Medical benefit, that's all.

Cons

-Managers stays comfortable in office while staff associates is on the floor giving their all -Management level doesn't take their own staff seriously -Certain manager cant even take less than a minute to listen or respond to a simple request; some just pretend they care about you but actually care how it reflects on themselves. -Leaves has to be taken a month in advanced -Managers does not have the ability to access staff's abilities and qualification -Scheduling is poorly done, overworked and paid the bare minimum wage; for example, supervisors would be throwing work to staff associates and take the credit for it and go for multiple "smoke" breaks, same goes to some managers. -Bad work-life balance -Higher position staffs are close ex-colleagues or friends which is how they are promoted, some helped their own family to secure jobs however, they do not have the ability to do their job which prevents capable staffs from getting the position. -Proof can be seen from the inside where staffs can be seen constantly leaving the company -Toxic work environment Applies to Non-Japanese staffs.

Pros

Honestly i love working in a Japanese company, most colleagues are nice and helpful in a way due to how we were trained to be for customer service. (at least thats how i feel). Pay increased for part timers which is acceptable and reasonable for part timers.

Cons

The management in my outlet sucks. Very toxic environment to work in. Alot of backstabbing and two faced people. The day i tender the whole store knows. Basically saying what they say and badmouth about you will spread like wildfire. Even as a Part timer you would need to support other outlets, which is what a full timer would need to do. If its nearby can understand, sometimes further outlets need support but ask part timers to do. I have been to another outlet to support for over a month or two. i could say the same about the management there too. My training outlet was so much more different and everyone was so patient with me. It all depends on which outlet you end up in, but for the spreading of things, just watch out and ignore them. Ignorance is sometimes a blessing. My store manager did not even consider how i would feel and “announced” it infront of everyone to ask if i would like to do an exit interview even though i just gave the letter to them discreetly. The turnover rate in one of the other outlets is very high too, due to the constant non stop queue. Management only comes out once in awhile to support cashiers resulting in most of the cashiers in the outlet exhausted.
