Pros

Helping families to receive reimbursement from their insurance is a noble goal. For this reason one can have a feeling of accomplishment while working there. They also pay their billers on the higher end of the pay scale and offer medical, dental and vision benefits.

Cons

I echo what was written in an earlier review, that I started this company so excited to be there. My excitement lasted about 6 months, until I started to see things as they really were and not for what was presented to me. A good portion of the company was either on written notice or a personal improvement plan, demoted, fired or quit. My coworkers were dropping like flies and tears were a regular occurrence. It was like having ones neck stretched out on the chopping block and waiting for the guillotine to drop. With this gloomy atmosphere, the culture they proudly portrayed at the beginning, of caring about their employees became a culture of pointing fingers. In other words, point out someone else's mistake before they point out yours. It was like being instantly transported back to the Salem Witch hunts. Who would be the next to be accused and executed (fired)? Noone dare approach management about any concerns, as there would be retribution. Also, it is important to note that this is not a company of integrity. There are some shady practices going on behind the scenes.

Hello, I'm sorry to hear about your dissatisfaction during your employment with Denials Management. We do wish to address some of your comments and clarify a few things you mentioned. Our company does utilize Performance Improvement Plans, these are not write ups or meant to be negative. The purpose of these plans is to determine areas where there are opportunities for improvement and to provide the tools and resources necessary for that improvement. We do not have a large amount of people on these plans, and the majority of people who have been on these plans were successful in improving their performance and are still employed with us today. We do not have shady practices and are very open and transparent with our employees. We also have an open door policy, that if utilized, will prevent retaliation. We apologize that you were not able to voice your concerns in a constructive manner while you were here. We would have loved the opportunity to address these things, but we appreciate your feedback now. We wish you all the best in your future endeavors.

Pros

The interview process makes the company seem amazing. You'll get excited - I promise.

Cons

Due to the ridiculously strict paperwork they have you fill out prior to starting work, I don't think I can openly critique them without landing myself in court. Just know, I accepted the offer really excited to start, and then ran screaming after a day and a half. My advice to new employees: keep your options open. I turned down two other offers after accepting theirs, and now I'm back to square one.
