I worked at Deutsche Bank full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Good benefits, nice technology, great salary

    Cons

Long hours, poor work life balance, hard to obtain promotions even if receiving great performance reviews, senior managers do not provide direction and frequently change, lack of training opportunities, lack of fluidity around the organisation coming from a lack of synergy.

    Advice to Management

Need to look at realistic goals, promote positive strong leaders, remove silos, give senior managers and C level enough time in the role to create change.

I have been working at Deutsche Bank full-time

    Pros

    Benefits are great
Mostly friendly atmosphere outside of promotion cycle
    Easy going lifestyle

    Cons

Poor facilities, cramped and noisy workspace. Mentality to "stack 'em high" like a call centre.
Culture pervaded by Cary Director leadership is poor. Their mistrust of London and NYC colleagues is fed to us and is demotivating. It is understandable as their roles are probably tenuous due to being dramatically less qualified. A review of the Cary Technology Centre should happen and appraise whether the local leadership is useful, instead they could be swapped out for technical contributors - which is what we are meant to be here for.

    Advice to Management

This place could be really great if we reorganised with entire alignment to London and NYC. Consider the future of local directors as idle hands do the devils work.
