Pros

It’s all trash in a pretty package

Cons

Incompetent leadership. Unqualified promotions for friends and ‘yes sir no sir’ people. The good reviews for DIGI OUTSOURCE all have some things in common, really short, really non specific mostly entry level newbies not yet versed in the toxicity of DOS. Very suspicious when you read the detailed one star reviews. Just a bunch of corporate lifers who pretend to be innovative but are stuck in the dark ages. Leadership has zero integrity and HR the backbone of a jellyfish. A tech company whose staff are forced to use outdated and often unusable tech on the daily. Can’t manage the simplest of rollouts. Always ‘rolling back’ and then punishing staff for not reaching unreasonable goals sucked out of thin air by people who have no idea. They have in fact forced staff multiple times to reapply for their jobs when they could find no disciplinary credentials to get rid of people they didn’t like. Awful. Awful company.

Pros

Cape Town is stunning. The offices are nice.

Cons

This company is run (from an operational perspective) by a person who often gets confused between inspiration leadership and threats. From there flows the toxic culture of fear. This is a company (registered on the GCSE) that did not provide their staff with inflation increases in 2022, then demanded staff return to the office 60% of the time for ‘the culture’. No consideration for escalating child/pet care costs or the cost of living crises. Many resignations followed. Their solution: replace bonuses with shares that will take 2 years to be available. Blackmail or ‘a long term retention strategy’? This company is not trustworthy. They have reduced perks to almost nothing and even existing perks are pulled at the last minute. For example, the work from anywhere in the world for 2 weeks has just been banned for the last half of December and the first half of January, with zero context. They may want people to work the festive period in office to avoid distraction. Not a thought given to staff who saved this perk the entire year in order to spend the season with family in other countries. This is a company who resorts to this kind of micro management because its leadership are unable to manage staff effectively and hired as buddies by buddies.
