Pros

Not micro managed, decent perks, pay is ok, get to do all kinds of exams(even if u don't know how)

Cons

Sales teams lie about services and throw field workers under the bus... All the time. Management knows about this and tells them to keep doing it so the trend continues in a loop. Promotes people who do not deserve, have no experience, and/or no education to management positions to save money. A very unethical company

Pros

Great group of people to work with. Typically finished working for the day by 3:00pm. Only work 4 days a week, no nights, no weekends, no holidays, not bad pay, super easy job. I feel impelled to write something about management because unlike all the other comments, the upper management was always very kind, receptive and knowledgeable in all aspects of the job.

Cons

Great entry level jobs but no advancement opportunities. Just like you will find with most other medical careers, reimbursement is going down and work demand is raising to an unacceptable level.

Pros

Good benefits, some down time, expense reporting and travel are easy to complete. The company is trying to introduce new products.

Cons

Senior management just cant get it right. They are constantly shifting around screwing things up because they don't know their job. Their refusal to drop the cost of their service contracts when business is doing poorly is putting them out of business and makes a 3rd party company profitable. The call center is grossly understaffed and sometimes in are not formally trained. The company just laid off of 5 of it's 13 field service engineers and cant understand why customer satisfaction is down and overtime is thru the roof. I watched a field service engineer find out he was loosing his job by fellow engineers before he was told by HR at the end of the day. I even heard a manager in the North East make jokes about it, what a schmuck. Most of the field service engineers are looking for new jobs. Management will tell you their making money and lay you off 2 weeks later.. still employed by Digirad but I'm looking for a new job..
