Pros

Lots of flexibility and I have a very supportive line manager. Dimensions really does live by its values on a day to day basis, in my experience

Cons

None for me, this is a great place to work

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review! I am really happy to hear that our values are demonstrated clearly. As an organisation we are trying to make our values more visible by collating examples of how these fit into everyday life. If you have any examples to share please feel free to email me at gemma.thomas@dimensions-uk.org. As an organisation we are keen to continue improving and understanding the real views of our colleagues. I am sure this will open doors for many opportunities in the future. So let’s keep thinking outside the box! Thank you again, Gemma.

Pros

Does some great things for the People it Supports and offers on job training

Cons

Dimensions Executive management lacks basic common sense and has instilled a blame culture across the business. Bullying and harassment is rife throughout the central office and is accepted. Challenging or offering a different viewpoint are frowned upon and in places punishable. Zero strategy and conflicting egos mean that the clique of senior execs is allowed to rule without accountability. This is one of the worst places for political and egotistical leadership I have ever worked. They do not have the best interests of the business at their core and certainly do not live the values which are plastered on the walls. Money is wasted in a not for profit organisation at a rate that would scare anyone, yet no one is held accountable.

Pros

Some brilliant carers , genuinely wanting to put the people they support first . SOME great team leaders , others seem to have got to that level on their own meabscas they don’t have the understanding or skills set to do the job and palm off their duties on to their senior supports .

Cons

Well . Where do I start ? I worked for the company in three different capacities and things never changed , and this was over 11 years. Higher management very clicky and if your face doesn’t fit (even though you can clearly do the role) your life is made hell. Jobs they should be doing are put on you to do but they will take the credit for it . Procedures aren’t always followed and they frequently cut corners . Which is very wrong as this company is supposed to be about the people they support. Team leader level is swamped with work . But no extra help to complete it . Lots of backstabbing , and no matter how many times you raise concerns , they all stick together and nothing is ever done . I am truely surprised they have managed to continue to receive good inspection results by CQC. It’s a huge shame as the original values of the company they took over - Adepta - have been lost a long time ago. Would I recommend them as an employer ? No ! There are much better employers who value ALL of their staff , not just using you to get the tedious jobs done for minimal financial reward .
