Pros

- Noble mission of the company to help doctors cover more people and make health care more accessible - Some very nice people and good culture overall, many managers and senior managers care about the employees - Generally, no huge stress

Cons

- Some gatekeepers who actually lack technical knowledge and are very impolite, they block numerically good technical initiatives without a reason and very aggressively - Reinventing the wheel in multiple places in the code and not using community standards sometimes - The offices and people in France have too much power in the company blocking initiatives and work coming from Germany - All the above makes it hard to show your skills and grow in the company... - The company raised salaries to lure new hires and didn't raise the current employees to match that raise (even partially) - Insisting on no remote work from outside Germany (except 2 weeks a year now) and a big push towards hybrid with 2 or 3 days per week in office - Some really toxic and unfair managers, minority but if you unlucky and work with them it is very bad...

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback. We're glad to read you like the overall culture and environment. However, some feedback and concerns you raised considering gatekeepers and leadership does not correspond to our company values. And we would highly appreciate it if you could reach out to your HRBP in order to share your observations and experience. We take such feedback very seriously, so we can act on it. Pros

- Honorable mission - Good vibes - Fun events

Cons

Don't oversell positions. People would gladly join, if they knew what they were in for. A lot of people left, because they were disappointed by the company. Depending on your team, you either get unreasonable screamed at in front of your whole team or even the staff or cheered on. Perceived as a start up from the outside if you take a clearer look from the inside you can see it's full of hierarchies. Wall between French and German. Not only language barriers, but also the willingness to compromise, very tiring. Markets are different!
