Cons
Still some learning to do with the integration into Leidos...not really a con, but working full time+ makes it a little difficult to fully catch up.

Dynetics has a huge variety of tasks. With the integration with Leidos, that is only increasing. And, at least in several departments, it doesn't seem at all like you are pigeonholed into anything unless you just don't go looking for more work to do. And there are adult rules. For the most part, managers want you to put in your hours and do what you say you're going to do and they will be happy and flexible with you. I realize I don't speak for the entire company, but most people I've worked with have been professional on their end, and have received flexibility and recognition from their coworkers and managers. Seriously though, I have really enjoyed working here, and as long as there's good work and compensation is good I'm happy.
Cons
Current employees have a lot to say about the way benefits are changing. For instance, if you have a spouse who is working and could receive health insurance at their employer at non-Leidos (or Dynetics) company but they want to be on Leidos benefits, there will be a fee on your plan for that.

When I worked there, I experienced the joy of working on several interesting programs along side some of the best engineers I've had the pleasure of knowing.
Cons
The morale took a blow after Dynetics was acquired by Leidos. Several heavy hitter engineers left as the benefits were reduced to be on par with Leidos and the Employee Ownership program was bought out.

Pros
Great work life balance. Great benefits. A lot of good people to work with, in a wide variety of work.
Cons
After Leidos buyout, benefits took a big hit. Company transformed from a small company feel (with positive benefits of a middle to large size company), to a large company feel which suddenly included the downsides (feeling like a number, decisions made to increase stock rather than employees well being, etc.).

Many contracts, competitive salary, lots of HSV jobs
Cons
Benefits are not nearly as good as they were before the Leidos sale. Culture and upward mobility depend greatly on whatever contract you are on and your direct manager
