      Pros

      Lots of other employees, therefore switching shifts between each other to make schedules more flexible was easy.

      Cons

      No official breaks and sometimes would work 8-10 hours without time for food or bathroom breaks. You would have to sneak the time in.

      Really great place to gain pre-med experience

      Pros

      The coordinators work really hard in helping you get trained and getting you the proper shifts you need. I had a very restricted schedule and they made it work. They also provide lots of resources to help you with your pre med journey and application process.

      Cons

      There really aren't any that are outside of what are typical cons to scribe jobs, such as if you cancel a shift the day off, you will have to call up other scribes to find a replacement.

      Pros

      EPPA is really great. They work well with school schedules and are full of great people and great providers. I've learned a lot at this job and have made some great relationships with providers. They also have free workshops for graduate school things such as personal statements and interviews!

      Cons

      The ER is very busy and it can be a hassle to work with that kind of 24/7 schedule. Schedules come out 6 weeks in advance so there can be some issues with swapping shifts but the company is very reliable to help you do what you need to.
